-Hey Landen! Introduce yourself... What's your name and what's your biz?

-What do you make/create/do? 

I make tattoos, sculptures and acrylic paintings on paper.

-What is the inspiration behind your work? 

Mostly traditional tattoo art from the 1970’s is my inspiration. I draw reference from anywhere... whether it be from old children’s books, vintage paintings or anything that comes my way.

-What is one thing that is different about the work that you create, compared to others in your field?

I tend not to play it safe in my imagery. I am more drawn to the strange and obscure images. I like to think i have a unique style in what I make.

-What is a dream project/opportunity that you hope to get to do one day?

 I always want to paint more murals. I would love to make something really big or just make large scale paintings but don’t have the space for such things.

-Take this opportunity to tell us about another local artist/creator that you love... Who is putting out cool shit that keeps you inspired and excited?

I really like this rapper in Winnipeg called Dill the Giant, who is making some really cool music. I have always loved the work of Marcel Dzama who is a pretty well known artist originally from Winnipeg, but is now living in New York. Also the kids at Art City are always blowing minds with the work they make, especially when they create for their Parade!
